Vacuuming may not make anyone's top ten list of favorite activities, however, as a proud mom of a very hairy, 65 lb. Golden Retriever that sheds several seasons out of every year, VACUMMING is a daily activity. I purchased a RICCAR canister approximately 6 months ago from John and Jennifer at Irby and Stuchman in College Park and have been thrilled with its performance. The lightweight frame, the ease in which it moves from hardwood to carpet, the attachments that make it easy to reach corners, around and under furniture make the RICCAR a delight to own. The vacumming chore is now more a joy.

I am a retired woman who cleans a few houses to keep busy and make a little pocket change, but my old vacuum was so heavy that my old back was constantly complaining. I took on a quest to find the solution and visited at least a dozen different stores but never found a lightweight that actually cleaned a floor.

Fortunately, someone suggested I check with Irby & Stutchman, as they had a much better assortment of machines than I had thus far seen. Wow, what an understatement! But better than that, they had John, who not only directed me to the perfect vacuum, but told me all the reasons why it was the "perfect vacuum for me". I left with the Riccar supralite and supraquik and my life has never been the same. I may not have won the lottery, lost 100 pounds, or even cured bad hair days but I SURE LOVE MY VACUUM!

Not only is it light weight, but it cleans like a whiz. My back thanks me every time I use it and my clients thank me every time I leave their clean house. And besides that -- it's a really cool color blue.

Seriously, thank you, John, for all the time you spent with me and all the information you shared from your obvious wealth of knowledge about vacuums. I sing your praises to everyone I talk to, it seems. You and your staff have made life more than a little better.

Dear John,

We have had our Red Radiance Riccar vacuum cleaner for about a year now and we just cannot tell you how pleased we are with not only the vacuum itself, but your customer service as well. The vacuum was a wedding gift from my mom and my husband and I both love it.

I have severe allergies and asthma and have never really found a vacuum that I can use that doesn't make me sneeze or leave behind a little dust. I would have to leave the house when someone was vacuuming, not only because of the dust, but also the smell. We have a medium dog, Lucy, that sheds quite a bit and it picks up her hair off of every surface (tile, furniture, stairs, and carpets) leaving nothing behind! There is also never a "dog smell" when I vacuum or in our house.

My husband loves to vacuum! I thought I would never say that, but he vacuums everything. He is very meticulous and the vacuum is wonderful because he does not have to go over anything twice to make sure it is clean. Our micro fiber sectional couch looks like new after we use the tools for a quick cleaning. The extra attachments are also great, I vacuum the black interior of my car and it gets all of Lucy's hairs out! (I have been told by car washes that they just cannot get out all of her hair.)

Thank you so much for introducing my mom and us to this wonderful vacuum! We will definitely come to your store for any bags, filters, or service for our vacuums! Every time we come to your store you are always so helpful and friendly. We have also been telling our friends about the vacuum so, hopefully you will get some more happy customers.

We have owned this Riccar Brilliance Vacuum for about six months. We are sorry we waited this long to buy one. This is the best vacuum we have ever owned and we have had 10 or 12 other brands.
